The Amazing Spider-Man is the fourth Columbia Pictures film that portrays Spider-Man in film and is a reboot of the film series that stars the superhero. The 1967 Spider-Man cartoon was the first animated adaptation of the Spider-Man comic book series and it aired from September 9, 1967 to June 14, 1970.
